Reinvention - The Art and Life of HM Rosenberg
In 1898, Henry Mortikar Rosenberg became Principal of the Victoria School of Art and Design, now known as NSCAD University. He remained principal for 12 years and had a significant impact on the evolution of fine art in Halifax, the province, and the region.
A publication that makes the case for H.M. Rosenberg’s importance for the region, yes, but also for the country, in recognizing his role in the forefront of the development of advanced contemporary art in his time. This is a national and an international story.
