    Tat’s Lace, founded by artisan Tanya Poirier in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, specializes in handmade, one-of-a-kind tatted lace items using traditional shuttle techniques. The "lost art" of shuttle tatting is beautiful method of tying knots to create complex, durable patterns.  Products feature mercerized cotton, often incorporating beads for jewelry and bookmarks.  These intricate pieces are durable and lightweight.  Earrings and necklaces feature intricate, fine-thread patterns made with 100% Egyptian cotton.
