Colleen Wolstenholme: Sugar & Spice/ Sucre et épices

Colleen Wolstenholme’s multi-media work interweaves artistic convention and highly-charged imagery culled from advertising and the media. This publication documents her success with pill sculptures and imagery and examines her most recent work which focuses on representations of the female body, two-dimensional geometry and pattern, and the use of motifs from Islamic visual culture.
