    Tat’s Lace, founded by artisan Tanya Poirier in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, creates handmade, one-of-a-kind tatted lace pieces using traditional shuttle techniques. Often described as a “lost art,” shuttle tatting is a beautiful method of tying knots to form complex, durable patterns.

    Her work features mercerized cotton and 100% Egyptian cotton, often incorporating beads in jewelry and bookmarks. These intricate pieces are lightweight yet durable, showcasing fine-thread craftsmanship and timeless detail.
