Carly Slade is a Canadian ceramic artist whose work is rooted in her blue-collar upbringing and early experience in the trades. Combining ceramics, embroidery, and industrial materials, she creates intricate dioramas that reflect real-world architecture and working-class life. With a raw, honest perspective, her work explores themes of labour, place, and fragility. Slade’s work has been exhibited throughout Canada and the United States and is held in several public collections.
