Post-Impressionist Masterworks From the National Gallery of Canada

The National Gallery is fortunate to hold such an outstanding selection of paintings that reflect the Post-Impressionists' enthusiasm for the expressive possibilities of colour and form. Included in this exhibition are works by such influential figures as Paul Cézanne, Paul Gauguin, and Vincent van Gogh.

The superior selection of Postimpressionist paintings represented here is a result of the National Gallery of Canada’s commitment to European modernism just prior to and following the Second World war.
