    Nafféeries de Verre, based in Montreal, Quebec, creates handcrafted stained glass pieces inspired by nature, with a touch of whimsy. Melanie Bailes and Sara Terreault invite you to share in their adventure by following them on Facebook and Instagram, joining them at local art markets, and maybe even finding a treasure to take home with you!

    Born in Sherbrooke, QC, Melanie’s journey took her via Paris, London, San Francisco, Hawaii and Vancouver, before finally landing in Montreal, returning close to her roots. Inspiration from each city lived in or visited, explorations of a number of crafts, and gardening have led to a passion for stained glass—specifically the Tiffany copper-foil method. Led by the purchase of a beautiful leaded glass window in sad disrepair, Melanie signed up for a class in copper foiling at Studio du Verre in Old Montreal, igniting a lifelong creative passion.
