Join us this winter for kid’s painting classes at the Gallery. This 4-week workshop series, led by artist-educator, Rosemary Clarke Young, will inspire young creatives, while they learn new painting techniques and have fun! Each artmaking class will begin with a visit to the Maud Lewis Gallery to learn about her work before returning to the studios to create their own colorful painting! Ages 5-12, all materials included.

Workshop Details

Every Saturday from 14 January to 4 February 2023

  • 10:00am - 12:00pm, ages 5-8
  • 1:00pm - 3:00pm, ages 9-12

The workshop series is $100 for four sessions. Each class is 2 hours long. Registration is required.

About the Artist

Bedford artist and educator Rosemary Clarke Young has taught children’s art classes, both privately in her home studio and in local schools since 2008. Though mostly retired from teaching now, she does occasional workshops and AGNS art camps. She works in watercolour batik, oil, pastel and encaustic and exhibits her work in galleries and shows, primarily in the Maritimes, including the Teichert Gallery.
